Just got home from Texas where I attended a wedding. The weather was perfect, which is pretty unusual for down there, not much humidity and a few rain showers. My brother was the reverend for the event..even spent a couple of hours with Lilly...which was fun...

You coulda left those pics of me outta your post LOL

I think that's called a sago palm. I want one...or two. Haven't been anywhere near a nursery to find them. But they grow pretty good size. I've been wantin them since our trip to west Texas last summer to my neices weddin.

And wouldn't ya know, one of the worst lookin cows in the whole bunch hadda be standin in the background. We laughed about that while ridin round the pasture.

Now Lilly if I had enuff guts to show my mug in a photo, I sure wasn't gonna let you off the hook! Of course Lilly's cows all look good except maybe one old gal...heck we've all got one of them in our herds...although Mr. Lilly was driving around trying to avoid getting to close to her so I couldn't take a picture..lol

We decided that we wouldn't go hog hunting at nite cause we had a 2hr drive back to my brothers on strange roads, and since my kid was driving my brothers pickup he was a little nervous...but we sure did look for em while we were out in the pastures...

As much fun as we had in Texas, all them trees makes me claustraphobic...lol I like being able to see around the next corner...and across the hills...

Go to WalMart and buy a little one, they have them all the time.
I've seen them @ Lowes and Home Depot also

I bought 3 little ones about 3 yrs ago and now they are bigger than me. Throw a little chicken shite on them and stand back!!!!

When they get that big...they get expen$ive.

The flower and the leaves on the flower bush both look just like a Gardenia to me but it is still too early for Gardenias. Don’t they bloom in July?
Two fine looking ladies and a nice pie too.

Gosh Lily,
I know now why you drive a "truck"! 8)
As petite as you are, your comfort zone is in a larger vehicle! :)
'Course, you'd look small sittin' in a VW Bug! :p

Petite??? me??? hahaha nope I'm not petite. Jassy's just alot taller than I am. No way could I fold myself up to drive a VW Bug :p

Thanks for the tip Kola....I haven't checked at Home Depot..and we have one of those rather close. Next time I"m over that way I'll try to remember to go to their gardenin section and see if they have them.

Did you ladies go to school together? Thanks for sharing your trip!

No we didn't..we met online quite a few years ago and we had so much in common with photography, ranching, cows, hubbys habits..lol & kids It's amazing how 2 people can live in 2 different parts of the country and still have so much in common...Texas and Nebraska...totally different!
