Looks like Trump cut a trade deal with Mexico and markets liked it. Appears a very real divide up north with respect to dairy protection. I don't know any American that thinks dairy protectionism while dumping dry on the world market (not to mention accessing open beef markets with protected dairy cows), but Ive not heard any Canadian analysis suggesting a problem with protecting dairy while accessing open markets with dairy spin-off. That's a fundamental core disagreement that may be unrectifiable. Looks like no deal so far. I can't imagine bringing freeland anywhere near negotiations if I wanted a deal, but that's not my call.Honest people can disagree.

I hope Trump adequately reflects on the US relationship with the Trudeau family goingback to the 1960s. Not much common ground with someone that admires a country that shoots dissidents and bills their parents for the bullet and seeks council from George soros.

My Dad representing the Saskatchewan Stockgrowers attended Federation of Agriculture meetings in the early 1970's opposing Marketing boards for cattle. The Ag Minister Eugene Whelan was really pushing them. The cattlemen pushed back, Thanks to the old timer ranchers.

Hope we can get rid of the son of the socialist next election.

I well know the feeling of near captivity with Barry and his band of merry commies. We are 1 recession away from a worse rendition. I wasn't a trumpeter, but a am enjoying how much the left hates him. I remember Trudeau hugging commies for decades and now Trudeau 2.0 says he most admires China. Wow, at least Barry was too cunning to admit to such.
