Day 2, Stop 1
Evenson Angus, Hettinger, ND; with guests Howrey Angus
I was only able to get one photo, but the Evenson's have an outstanding facility with equally as good of Angus cattle. They've just built their feedlot facility.
We travelled down the Enchanted Highway ( http://www.enchantedhighway.net/ ,) and stopped to do a little fishing
Day 2, Stop 2
Urlacher Angus, Regent, ND
The Urlacher's sell 2 year old grass and hay developed Angus bulls. They are a very moderate set of cattle, that are the "kind." The Urlacher's also have two of the cutest little kids that you'll ever see. Their little boy was selling bulls for a bargain...anywhere between $25 and $150.
Day 2, Stop 3
Carlson Angus, Regent, ND
These folks had a very impressive set of Angus calves on display. They had HUGE adjusted 205 day weights, off of a very moderate set of cows (frame 5 and 6, I'd say)
The Carlson's also served a GREAT lunch to their tour visitors.
Interesting butte, with a red, scoria top, and brown clay/sand bottom near Regent, ND
Day 2, Stop 4
21 Angus Ranch, New England, ND
The Wolf's at 21 Angus had a very nice, functional set of Angus cattle. I really liked their heifer calves.
