Went to look at some bulls and go to a card making party today.
No hubby didn't go.

I got home around an hour ago.

Here comes son walking, no make that LIMPING into the kitchen.
Has a large scratch on his face and a large scratch on his neck.
His left knee has a huge bruise on it.

He was out scouting for deer and rolled his 4-wheeler. He had stopped on a hillside that was too steep and it rolled on him.

He was wearing his helmet.

Where's the whiskey bottle?

Be careful out there! Glad to hear the wreck wasn't worse. Did your son have to walk all the way back or was he able to right the 4 wheeler and ride home?

Helping preg check cattle last week and some of the guys took one bunch out ahead of the others to keep them separate. It was getting dark. One of the guys took off to shut a gate. Young guy, a bit green to atvs and the pasture, driving too fast and got disoriented. Very bad combination. He hit a barb wire fence at almost full speed. Luckily he was thrown off and over the fence. His face is bruised up and he hobbles a bit on one ankle, but otherwise miraculously he is OK.

The atv must have hesitated a few seconds before it busted through the fence. It was tipped over on its side with the throttle open doing cookies until it somehow got back up on its wheels and took off by itself. Took him a while to get up before another guy came along to see what had happened.

Then the other guy went looking for the 4 wheeler. It had either burnt up the belt or got knocked out of gear. The engine was still running at pretty good throttle when he found it and shut it off. It had gone another half mile and through another fence before it stalled out.
