Over the week-end we attended a family reunion at Nebraska City, Nebraska, home of J. Sterling Morton and Arbor Lodge.
Saturday evening, while passing time on the veranda of the motel where we were staying, there was an astounding sunset.
Forgive the fact there are more pictures of one subject that should be posted, but I couldn't get the camera to quit.
The following is a progression of how the sunset changed over the course of several minutes.

very beautiful shots!

I need to run over to Neb. City myself to use up some Fort gift cards. I grew up not far from Neb City on the Iowa side. Went to Arbor Lodge as a kid for school.... thought it was funny there was a bowling alley in the basement.... if I remember right?????
