VALENTINE, Neb. (AP) - After a life touching three centuries in Nebraska, Helen Stetter has died at the age of 113.
She was believed to have been the oldest living Nebraskan, the oldest to have lived her entire life in the state and the world's fourth-oldest person.
She was born November 18th, 1893, in Chadron. She died yesterday in Valentine.
Her second cousin, 70-year-old Bob Stetter, says Helen Stetter never married, never had a driver's license and was in good health other than losing her sight and some of her hearing.
Helen Stetter is listed in Guinness World Records 2007 as being among the 12 oldest living people.
Bob Stetter says -- quote -- "She wasn't in any pain or sick or anything. Old age just finally got her."
