I can remember as a child, going to visit relatives in Missouri and the discussion was Social Security. Those folks didn't want it. They looked upon it as a hand out...and they were too proud for that. I honestly think some of those old-timers refused it. Far cry from today.
Another thing, how are we realistically going to round up all, or even a substantial portion, of the illegals that are already in this country. Too much red tape and leg work required;
