Need help deciding on these photos

These photos are all of the same bull. His name is LMG Gills Vin Diesel 7611. He was born in May 2007. He has been with 45 cow for 21 days in June and then 40 cows for 45 days the end of this week with our summer calving cows. This is the first year he has been with any cows and I am sure he has put on a couple hundred pounds over the summer. Both Dad and I think he is probably the best bull we have ever raised (at this stage).

I can't decide which is the best photo. I need to get a better one, but for now I need 1 or 2. Which do you like the best.

I like 1 and 2 best...#1 shows off his thickness best- and #2 shows off the muscle in his hip and rear best- as well as his length.....
Nice looking young bull....

That is one fine bull. If I was going to fault him at all, it would be that he is a bit weak across the topline. The number three photo shows this less than any of the other photos, so that is the one I would go with. My second choice would be the number two photo because the background is brighter, greener, and prettier, and the bull possible looks "rounder" and more filled out than the number three photo.

BRG, that bull is so ugly that you should send him here and I'll hide him for you. :p

Seriously, I think #2 picture does the best justice to the muscling he has. # 4 shows his length the best but the grass is in the way.
That is a good kind of bovine.

I'm with Soap and for the same reasons. Looks to be a nice, easy calving bull. Nice and clean up front and not too heavy over the shoulders.

Bryan...I'd select #3.

It seems you're taking them downhill. I think you'll show more depth on the bull, and accentuate his good points if you take him on the level or more uphill.

You and I both know, though, that getting that done is sometimes easier said than done.

How is Hudson doing?

Thanks everyone!

You are right TTB, he is down hill, but we were in a section pasture and didn't have much luck with him stopping, all he wanted to do was walk and call his cows. With him going down hill, he stands a bit under himself and creates a sway back look. Hopefully when we pull him and he gets in a smaller pasture I will be able to get a better one. But I do think these photos show the type of thickness he has and this is what I was mainly wanting.

BRG, the first pic tells me all I need to know about what the bull looks like. Many, many of the narrow cows that are scattered across this great land could benefit from his overall thickness and type. I'd think he'll be popular.

BRG I like the muscle expression shown in #2 best. RBT
