Did you ever get some of the rain or snow out of that last storm, to lower your fire danger? And to grow some feed? Your growing season is in the spring, vs. monsoon country to your south, correct?

Hope the fires are all out in your country.

Last year, we had some new grass already starting around here by this date, but the ground is still froze here at the moment. There is still some snow on the ground, stiff SE wind and brisk. It is going to be in the high fifties not 75 miles west of here today, but we are on the wrong side of the dang front.

Sorry, I hijacked my own thread.

But the fire danger is low. :D

Tap, it was 56 degrees in Glendive yesterday and I think we may have hit 35 with that rotten SE wind. Getting real old.

Good news FH--The weather boys are predicting a new front to move in tonite- possibly an inch of snow thru Sunday- and 30-40 mph winds out of the NORTHWEST....

As my neighbor said he's gotten so used to leaning into the east wind as he comes out his door- that without it he'll probably fall flat on his face...

Tap, visited with some of the natives around here and they cannot remember when the wind blew this long and this hard out of the SOUTH EAST. Everyone is getting cranky, even the cows.

I guess I'll take a change of any sort. Supposed to be in the 50's Tuesday.
