Thats a great article, and she is spot on. We all need to learn to speak to Americans and convey to them that we care for and nurture the environment and our stock. Don't tell them we hate prairie dogs; tell them that prairie dogs are devestating to the grasslands, and if uncontrolled will destroy vast areas of grassland (use pictures). Don't say we hate wolves; say that we need to protect our livestock ( use a picture of that cute little baby calf). Be careful to leave the notion that we care as much about the welfare of our livestock as the check it represents. Urban America is not stupid, they are uninformed. Talk of preserving open spaces and be an animal nurturer and environmentalist first. We should carefully choose our words, and the social media can be used to our benefit.
