So they now think it is a genetic defect and have traced the defect to a common ancestor but haven't yet released the bull it's traced to? That may be helpful in the near future! Especially to folks planning to buy semen in 2 weeks! :roll:

I heard yesterday that it will be very very soon....AAA is supposed to be having a conference call meeting today with the Bull Studs/Breeders Assn.- and after that I'd expect them to release the confirmed test results and the possible at risk cattle...
