Sure didn't take this fella too long to do the job. Went wading in it the other night. Very refreshing! :D

I hate to turn cattle into this, to muddy it all up. But I guess they might want to drink a little of it also.

There are old springs, just up stream of this new hole. There are old cow or buffalo trails leading to it, that were grassed over, 80 years ago. Just got to clean them out every 20 years or so.

Hopefully next year I can afford to get the feller back with the dragline and extend this hole another 200 feet or so.

In normal to wet years, this would have water higher than the grass in this crick. Been a few years since I've seen that!

Better not let me FIL see that machine.. He would have to jump in and show me how it works... Not that he knows how it works but he sure thinks he does   :D

Boy- either one of them would make cleaning springs a lot faster than my little JD 410 backhole... I'd have water holes everywhere if I could get my hands on one of them

Sure nice to see the ole 98 linkbelt in action JB. Not many of those still campaigning these days, and operators are even more rare.
It's allways a good feeling adding water capacity to the pastures isn't it?

Here's another one if you need help digging your redneck pool JB. I don't think it looks as big as Greg's, but it does dig a big hole! There is a pretty good sized cat in behind where its dumping, and it looks very tiny.

Well you wouldn't have to take more than 1 or 2 swipes with the dang thang!

And yes it will be ready for aug 12. I'm sure the cows and calves that will be in there will be glad to share! :D

Matter of fact, it's right below the hill you will be digging in.  :)
Handy. After you get all sweaty, you can take a quick dip to cool off! I'll bring the camera, you bring the bikini.
