One week shy of her 13th birthday, missing New Jersey girl Autumn Pasquale was found discarded like trash on Monday night by police in a recycling container in Clayton, N.J.

The Gloucester County 10 p.m. gruesome discovery of the 12 year old girl last seen bicycling is a tragic end to a search that began on Saturday and ended when investigators from the county prosecutor's office happened upon her yet to be officially identified remains.

Pasquale joins other child crime victims like Jorelys Rivera and even adult victims like John P. Wheeler when it comes to being discarded like trash by their killers after their deaths.

According to Philly.com, a K-9 dog caught Autumn's scent at a home behind a Franklin Township, Gloucester County bar. The property was searched after police requested the home owner return to the premises from his job and give them access.

They said they wanted to search my house," he told reporters. And he went on to say why he thought he drew police suspicion. According to him his back window, which was broken out recently, and his friendliness to teen girls on Facebook likely drew their attention.

The unidentified man explained away his Facebook communications with teen girls as the result of having a younger sister. No explanation was given for his broken window according to Philly.com, and no arrest has been made in the case.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, which will confirm to police and the family the details surrounding the tragic death of the missing NJ girl, which will include the manner and means of death. But police may not release that information to the public or the family until the investigation has been completed and a suspect arrested and charged in the case.

In a missing child case in Georgia earlier this year another young girl was also found in a trash container after a short period of searching for her failed to end positively.

In the Jorelys Rivera case the suspect turned out to be a maintenance man in his 20s who had not been working at the complex where the child lived for very long. He had a history of inappropriate touching with minors, but no prior arrests. To view his taped GBI interrogation and interview click here.

Police in the Pasquale case, however, have not shared with the public where the trash container was in which they located Autumn's body. But they had been searching wooded areas in Clayton, around Wilson Lake and elsewhere in Scotland Run Park, where the missing girl was last seen alive.

this is a real tragedy.. a child killed for her bike... and dumped like trash.. the two kids who did this were turned in by their own mother..

not sure what will happen to them.. one is 15 and the other 17..

one of the killers had the gall to go to a vigil for the girl.. and had talked to several people there..

It's a sub-culture that needs to end.

Where are the Black leaders that should be speaking out on this? Not just the Black On White Crime, but Black On Black as well........................

sadly these tragedies repeat themselves..

CLAYTON, N.J. -- A teenage boy lured a 12-year-old girl into his house under the guise of getting parts for her treasured bicycle and then, with his older brother, killed her, police said Tuesday.

The boys, ages 15 and 17, were charged with murdering Autumn Pasquale, who disappeared while riding her BMX bike Saturday, a little more than a week before what would have been her 13th birthday.

The boys' mother had come forward with information about a posting on a son's Facebook account, The girl's disappearance had sparked a frantic search by residents of her small town until a tip from the boys' mother led police to her body, stuffed into a home recycling bin.

The girl's body was found around 10 p.m. Monday in a recycling bin on a vacant property next to the home where the boys live, police said. The suspects had attended a community vigil for her shortly before the discovery, several residents said.

Both brothers were charged with counts including first-degree murder, body disposal and tampering with evidence. The 15-year-old was also charged with luring.
