A variety of angus genetics from breeders all over Montana.....
I'm pretty sure the couple of lots I'm interested in will be way more than I want to pay--But it will be broadcast on DV Auction- 12 NOON Mountain time- so if anyone wants to watch...

Watched some of the sale(NILE) the first one brought 5200 the some around four
then they gradually dropped to 2500 to 2000 bulk around 2500. Hard to watch and listen from my point on DV had the same experience at a sale last week. We had to call in a bid to the regional director at last week sale. He saved us a bunch of money of what the computer was reading. We still spent to much. Fully broke now.

Got a call during the sale (NILE) from a breeder that had talked to one of the judges after the show. They said the best heifers were NOT consigned in this sale.

BTW the lot the regional director bought for us (last week) was $750 less than what my computer was reading from the skippy DV feed. I had purchased from DV in years past and its pretty risky but this years feeds are real poor than in the past. I am sure it has to do with where the sale and the tower location.

I also learned the sale consulants (sp) charge as high at 15 percent buying com. If any body on here want to buy that special 25000 animal I will only charge 10 perenct :D :)

Yeah the bred heifers that I was kind of looking at actually went cheaper than what I expected ( one was $2200 and the other $3000)...
The bred heifers unofficially averaged $2814....
I didn't catch the open heifer calf average...
