Haymaker,Greg and I have lived the last few years in drought conditions, boy we don't envy you too dry of weather. We have alot of trees that have to be cut down because we lost them without moisture! I sure hope you get some rain,I'd like a little warmer weather but not 99 degrees 8) I guess a nice glass full of Crown Royal and ice is in order, you can't work in that heat :!:

I'll make you a deal Haymaker... you send me thirty degrees and I'll send you half of our moisture. Hope you don't mind it in the frozen form. It got to a grand high of thirty seven today. I spent two hours gathering horse in a blizzard this morning that visibility was about fifty feet. The moisture is great but need some sunny days to make grass grow and to heal calves that are suffering from pneumonia and scours.

Well I guess it's good for land prices to be good enough to sell out and do some thing else, problem is what ?
To ranch and enjoy all that comes with it is about all I have ever wanted to do,lot's of people in this area too,as some of these folks age and retire the kids usually sell the place, use the money to provide care for their parents, and usually to a developer that will cut it up in small parcells, truthfully ranching seems like it is dieing out around here, and of course with it goes "small town America"..............good luck
