NO Reading The Stimulus Bill Before The VOTE!!!!

HURRY, FELLAS, LET'S VOTE, I AM OFF TO ROME!

Rep. John Culberson, TX claims the "stimulus" bill must be urgently voted on today -- because Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leaving at 6:00 PM for an 8 day trip to Europe!

Culberson made the charge on Houston's KSEV radio.

Pelosi is hoping to lead a delegation to Europe; there's a meeting with the Pope and an award from an Italian legislative group.

Calls to Pelosi's spokesman went unreturned.

In the rushing, Democrats have now broken their promise to have the public see the $790 billion bill for 48 hours before any vote.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) predicted that none of his Senate colleagues would 'have the chance' to read the entire final version of the 1,071-page bill before it comes up for a final vote.

I heard last night the Senator Reid stuck in a multi million dollar high speed train from California to Las Vega after the negotiations were over and nobody but a few even know he did it. NO EARMARKS Pelosi with her mouse habitat and Reid with his high speed train and BTW Pelosi's $400 million for STD's is back in after it was announce to have been taken out

Most lawyers say that you should never sign anything until you have first read the fine print but these idiots are going to sign on without seeing any print first.

Gee a billion for the Census, why when the Dems just want to estimate how many people live in a certain area? The reason they didn't want Gregg overseeing the Census is because he would actually COUNT the people and make sure the people got the representation and FUNDING they were entitled to. :???:

BTW how fuel efficient is the Big New Limo that Obama rides around in?? :???:
Why isn't he riding around in a steel plated Smart Car, with his Security guards following him in the same instead of gas guzzling Limo and SUV's? :?

Seems to me when He told the Car Executives it was in bad taste to come with hand out when they arrived in DC in their Jets, he would have at least used a smaller jet than Air Force One when he came with hand out to the US voters drumming up support for his $800 billion Stimulus package.

I read he invited the Florida Governor that back it to attend the Florida rally but the Indiana Governor that didn't support it was not invited to attend in his state. He wouldn't want anyone telling the voters what they needed to hear while he was there telling what to think.

Obama sure looked smart when he was a CAT telling them that as soon as the Stimulus bill was passed they could start hiring people back. :???: Especially when the Cat spokemen came on right after and said he's wrong, and that Cat sees more lay offs before they see hiring anyone back.

Glenn Beck just sent this out in his newsletter ("hurry and vote, I'm off to Rome").

Pelosi rushes vote - for Euro vaca

There's not much else you can say to describe the agonizing events surrounding this craptastic spending bill other than Nancy Pelosi sucks. This time it's because she rushed the vote on nearly 1,071 page stimulus so she can jet off to Europe. Not only have Democrats already broken their promise to give 48 hours consideration to any major bill - they are about to pass the biggest spending bill in the history of the planet, without even reading it. Glenn crunches the numbers on how fast those voting would have to read the bill in order to finish before the vote and even has his voice digitally sped up to see if it's possible to finish the bill on time. The results aren't pretty. (Transcript, Insider Audio)
