Congressional sources confirm that Republicans and Democrats have reached a deal to keep the government funded.
The deal came about 90 minutes before a midnight deadline that would have triggered a government shutdown. The worst fears of a shutdown are over, with congressional sources confirming that House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., have agreed to keep the government running for a few days under a continuing budget resolution.
