Didn't anyone see this coming?
More bold than sneaky, the News Letter Journal describes the theft of an entire 1,000-gallon propane tank and filling station late last month.
The Newcastle paper reported in its Dec. 7 edition that no one seems to know just how thieves took off with such a large piece of equipment.
"Somebody drove up, loaded it up, and drove off" a Crook County sheriff's detective told the paper.
The theft occurred on a busy street, and no one reported it missing until the owners showed up the following day, the paper reported.
