I hope he takes time to take some pictures so the rest of can see some of the sights.

Your better than I am at picking out Northern Rancher in the stands.

The horses sell with out papers but those with butt brands may be able to be identified and papers acquired. AQHA is making no guarantee's about registration. About 3/4's through this article it talks about the papers.

I bet he is really enjoying himself! NR made todays' paper as well:

Cory Wilson of Meadow Lake, Alberta, bought 14 horses and was planning on buying another 15 on Sunday to truck to two Canadian ranches. He hired a knowledgeable horseman, Jim Smith of Sheridan, Wyo., to handle most of the bidding.

"Those mares are going up to the Waldorf Ranch in Saskatchewan to raise colts," Wilson said

:agree:

No kidding every time you turn around the government takes more of your rights away, after hearing what Ignatieff has planned if elected I hope to heck that Canadians don't vote for the devil.

FH wasn't there another commotion a while ago involving the same thing, I think it was a used car lot ,you got a free rifle or something with vehicle purchase.

Sorry, didn't mean to jack the thread. I wonder how many horses NR picked up ? Maybe that is where Haymaker is .

That 'gun giveaway' is from a business in Hamilton. The Bitterroot Valley,
where there are lots of GREENIES; anti-gun people, envrionmentalists, etc. People foreign to Montana...

When I organized the Coyote Calling Contest here in SE Montana,
I couldn't believe the crank calls I got from that area and also
north of Missoula. And most, if not all of them, had NEVER BEEN
OVER HERE. :x

Well I hope they don't hang horse thieves in Montana because we stole some good mares for the Waldorf and even a few for poor little old me. The HairPin Sip'n whiskey stud is headed north too I never dreamed that a person would get a chance to buy these kind of horses at that money. Been a busy couple days we went up the mountain north of Gardner last night and picked up some draft horses too. In all 36 head of Leachman horses are headed up north. I can't begin to thank Jim Smith enough he was a big help-900 horses take alot of sorting but I think we got some real useful mares bought for the Waldorf. I bought 7 young studs for Ty to start once we get them gelded and a couple nice little mares and couple fillies for the old man. The Crow Indians did a great job working with the horses-and all in all they made the best of a bad situation. I viseted with the Stovall's and they are more than glad that this deal is moving to a conclusion. Got to visit with some old friends and make some new ones now just have to get everything up across the medicine line.

How do you all like my goofy little hat lol!

You just were being Saskatchewan's version of Crocodile Dundee.

Looks like you had a fun and potentially profitable adventure. Nothing like a good horse deal to get the blood pumping.
