This set of bred heifers and young cows are rustleing for a living. No protein supplements, Licking snow and salt.

I did'nt graze this pasture all summer so I figured I'd better get my money from it.

As Gcreek would say Grass is like a oh forget it he knows what he says. :wink:
 
I still have a lot of stock piled grass but I brought the cows in as it is now snow covered - - - looks like I can turn them back out in about a week according to the forecast.
 
They look good Denny. You have enough snow there that if it turned real cold ours would quit.

Tubs can be a good tool to keep them going.

Its soft snow and were going to preg on tuesday so we'll move them monday.
