Gettingthemcorraled.jpg

We left the house at 2 p.m., rode a mile, gathered a forty acre pasture, corraled 230 pairs, sorted the cows away from the calves,
ki-yied the cows home a mile, and had them locked up on hay by 3:15. The hour and fifteen minutes went by quite quickly, but everything
fell into place, and our mission was accomplished.

that's makin pretty good time, Soap. that would've been a half a days job around here. :?

Yep, pretty efficient, and I'm betting nobody ever got much out of a walk :D . Maybe Soap's cows are like these cows, and are more than ready to get rid of their calves for the fall.

Great pics as usual :D . Are you planning on breeding all of your heifers?

It looks to me like the cat is waiting its turn to speak to whomever is on the other end of the phone line.

The foundation crew must have been working on a warmer day than the cattle crew. Will there be additional photos of the foundation work in progress and the end result? One positive factor seems to be that sandhills sand is relatively easy digging?

Kosmo appears to have an invaluable asset there with his bi-directional steed.
