And in how many of these five countries is the religion of peace the predominant religion?

Coincidence? I don't think so.

the Quran allows them to take slave girls...
So does the Bible-- which is full of passages of how to take care of slaves....
The old slave holders used to quote all the many verses as their justification for owning slaves...

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

So since its in the Bible does that mean all Christians practice slavery . :???:

Since it says foreigners can be purchased as slaves does that mean I can go purchase a couple of Canucks :???:  :p

The Bible also says you are a slave. Do you believe the Bible?

Seems OT believes in following the Old Testament and attributing those scriptures to Christians...not professing to be a Christian myself, I have a question?

Didn't the Christian religion start after Christ was born....

...and don't Christians follow the New Testament, while Muslims follow the part of the Quran that was "Old", written in the time of Muhammad?

That part of the Quran reads more like a war/combat manual...

IMO, Extremists are the religious military wing of Islam and the only time it will be a "peaceful" religion is after after all others are converted

Islam is a totally made up prophecy by Muhammed that was supposedly spoken to him and him alone by Allah 600 years after Christ. Muhammed even claimed that Allah descended him into heaven where he met Abraham and he knew right off that he was a descendant of Abraham because he looked like him, about 2000 years after Abraham's death.

Islam is unlike Christianity, which was written by many people.

If Islam & Muhammed BS is not a crock of sh*t. Nothing is. Takes real ignorance to believe any of it.

The New Testament talks of slaves- and how Christians relate as slaves...

Here are just a couple of verses:

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

It is frickin unbelievable how stupid you are. "Slavery' was very different in the biblical days, and even after:
Part of the problem is that we have false ideas about what slavery was really like. The life of a slave was not easy, but we get an exaggerated idea of the hardships of slavery from watching movies or reading historical material that is written on a popular level. Here the purpose is usually to dramatize the plight of slaves or to make some point about the evils of slavery in general, (1) but the historical reality was less dramatic. In most cases the life of a slave was not much different from the life of any lower-class worker. Those who have been in the military have experienced something like it — being legally bound to an employer and to a job that one cannot simply “quit” at will, not free to leave without permission, subject to discipline if one disobeys or is grossly negligent — all of this is familiar enough to those of us who have served in the military. And yet we know that the daily life of a good soldier is not especially hard. This is what it was like to be a slave.

So are you saying what the Bible says can be/should be interpreted and every word not taken as literal ?
Does not different Christian denominations interpret those verses differently?

Could not that be true of the Koran and the Muslim religion also?

The law plainly states that Hebrew slaves were to be freed after serving six years (Ex 21:2, Dt 15:12). If a slave wished to remain, it was his free choice. Since Hebrews typically became slaves only due to poverty, some may have felt they were better off working for a rich family and being provided for rather than struggling to make it on their own (cf. Dt 15:16).

When your old argument failed in the past, and you can't defend it then, why do you keep using it?

Seriously answer the following, what does 2+2= ?

According to what Mike and several theologians, Priests, Preachers, Rabbi's, etc. and thruout the differing sects of the Abrahamic religions it can equal 5 to some- 4 to some- or maybe 3 to others ...

Much of old religious writings depend greatly upon interpretation...
