There was a specific hearing pre-trial on the Daubert issues.

Filed April 10, 2003:

"This matter before the court on defendants IBP's motion to strike plaintiffs expert witnesses for failure to satisfy the Daubert Standard...............
On March 13, 2003, the court held a daubert hearing at which both parties presented evidence................................
IBP does not seem to to quarrel with the methodology Dr. Taylor used; regression analysis is a commonly accepted method of reaching such conclusions..................................................
Accordingly, the court finds that defendant's objection to the foregoing proposed testimony of Dr. Taylor should be denied."

I talked to Dr. Taylor directly about the Daubert requirement. I was hoping Agman would answer.

I'll ask Agman another question; Would Dr. Taylor been allowed to testifiy had he not passed the Daubert Test?
