How much does that make now?????

according to the national news.. the program was a 16.1 billion in loans and guarantees, and 28 firms took part.. it could be worse, they had over 38.6 billion to squander.. and with the last minute rush to get loans out the dorr, they might have really ran up an epic bill for US

so far...
Fiskas.. is out of the country.. $529 million in low-interest DoE loans
Tesla is skidding for the ditch, ($365 million).
In June 2009, the DoE granted loans to carmakers: Ford ($5.9 billion), Nissan ($1.6 billion, though it only ended up borrowing $1.4 billion),
GM withdrew its application to the DoE for $14.4 billion of loans in January, but Chrysler still hopes to receive loan approval of up $14 billion from the program.

Sun Power went south, a $1.187 billion loan
Solyndra has lost it's shine.. received a $535 million loan, a $25.1 million tax break
Beacan power can't keep it going.. $43 million loan
Nevada Geothermal Power went cold.. $79 million, plus at least $66 million in grants.

Fact: "To date, The Washington Post reports, the Energy Department loan guarantee program from which Solyndra benefitted has created one new permanent job for every $5.5 million spent.

it is adding up fast.... with little to show for the spending.
