Accidents happen and theres no way you can tell me Frankk, that my little four year old niece was hurt badly in an accident because she wasn't believing in the "right" God.......Theres only ONE God and theres no way "our" God choses to protect this one but not that one....I'm NOT debating this with you because you have NO idea how badly your statements Anger me,I may get ticked off sometimes but you blew me over the edge with your statement....you need to read OUR Bible a bit more.
I am with you, I hardly can stand to go to funerals anymore because of some of the stuff the person says. I know they are trying to help the family to feel better. But when I go to a funeral and the Pastor says God needed young kids in heaven, it burns me up! Or when it is an older person and they say it was Gods time to take them.
It also burns me up when sports people thank God for touchdowns or wins. I doubt God is picking who is going to win the Superbowl.
This one may touch more on some peoples toes even some Conservatives but I also do not think God picks sides in wars and between countries. I think some Countries like the U.S. are blessed because they were founded on principals from the bible and if you do so naturally these qualities will help you to prosper, but I don't think God decides which countries win wars, or which countries have starvation and which prosper.
There is plenty of examples in the old testament where God took sides, an easy one is Egypt, killed their entire army.
He also made Israel prosper. Remember he told them he would take other peoples homes, vineyards and wells and give it to them Joshua 24: 13 sounds kind of liberal don't it.
Lots of things were different in the Old Testament and a lot of those things died when Christ died.
