interesting clip,.. sure would like to see a few behavioral experts take a good look at it..
I did notice the pause and wince before he said I wasn't born in Hawaii, on the first viewing,.. but I had to watch it several times to get a take on it.. his hand motions say alot..
my take.. the first part.. about the accusations,. he wants you to disregard them. as his hand rolls it away..
the second comment, it is true I'm not and American,. the hand motion turns to a push away,.
then the pause, reflection and the truth..
the part A: the truth: I was not born in Hawaii,.. a strong fist, and thumb up to enforce the point,..
the next sentence B: I was not born in the United States of America hand still in a fist, thumb up, but moving down and he is turning,
it is the truth? He was not born in the US, but he "doesn't" know the truth, he knows what he was told, he knows what he believed, but he knows it is not true,..
then he quickly goes back to the "story" that he "comes" from Kanya,
again a change in hand motion, a brushing off,.. he knows as long as you scoot away to Kenya you will not find out the truth,, shoo go look.
tone lowers again to readdress the accusation,... hand in pocket, finishes with a push away.. (story)... with one note, it looks as if he believes testimony or people have become more naive, but doesn't want to accept it.
my take.. born in Canada,.. And not in August,..
Boy Dunham, Feb 2, 1961 Vancouver Canada.
and if I still gambled, I would wager heavy on that statement..
(BTW, I didn't quit gambling because I was losing, I quit because I couldn't live with the fact that most of the people that lost, lost their paycheck before taking care of their family),.
