Obama to Morning Joe: 'I Do Take Offense' at Critics of Benghazi

On Monday morning, a defensive and obviously irritated President Obama took on the demeanor of the offended party when he was questioned about his handling of the Benghazi debacle on MSNBC's Morning Joe:

Co-host Mika Brzezinski poses the Benghazi question to Obama at the 39 second mark. The President had difficulty maintaining eye contact with either Brzezinki or Scarborough as he answered their questions:

Mika Brzezinski: Why has it been so easy for the Administration's critics to say it does not have its story straight on Benghazi? ...

President Obama: I do take offense as I've said during one of the debates with some suggestion that, you know, in any way we haven't tried to make sure that the American people knew as information was coming in what we believed happened....

Joe Scarborough: Was it the intel community that was giving you bad information early on, because the stories keep changing?

President Obama: We find out there was a big breakdown and somebody didn't do their job they'll be held accountable.

Ultimately as Commander in Chief I am responsible and I don't shy away from that responsibility.

My number one responsibility is to go after folks who did this and we're going to make sure that we get 'em. I've got a pretty good track record doing that.

The American people have discovered that there was "a big breakdown" at Benghazi, and that "somebody didn't do their job." The person who didn't do his job? President Barack Obama.

On Saturday, Lt. Colonel Tony Shaffer told Fox News that his sources informed him that President Obama was in the situation room at the White House and watched the fatal Benghazi attack on September 11, 2012 and yet did nothing to aid the Americans on the ground desperately requesting assistance.

American planes were within one hour of going to the rescue. Tyrone Woods, the retired Navy Seal who went back to save Americans trapped in the Benghazi mission, had a laser pointed at the militant mortar battery that was launching artillery into the mission and a nearby "safe house." It would have been easy for American fighter pilots to take out that mortar battery had President Obama as Commander in Chief issued the order to go.

But the President failed to issue that order, and several hours later, Woods was killed by a bomb launched from the very mortar battery on which his laser was focused.

At least he is getting ASKED by some in MSM. Of course he's not going to
'fess up. He's so used to lying it's second nature to him.

He says "we're gonna get 'em all right"...and he's done NOTHING.
He's had 7 weeks! What he's hoping is that it will all go away like most
of his corruption that has been uncovered has gone away.

No punishment is too good for a traitor.

The fact that anyone at MSNBC would even ask the question is an indication that the wheels are coming off TeamObama.

What you see here with this interview....and with others that are sure to follow this week, is a major cover-your-ass effort by those in the MSM to be able to say, "see, we asked the tough questions".

They all see the handwriting on the wall, and it doesn't include the words hope & change.

It's hope and change for those of us who can see what Obama is, just a tragedy it took the lives of some who were so much better than him to really show his true colors to those who didn't want to see.

That's for sure, and there are some out there who still don't see. Not many, but some. I read the comments on Yahoo below some of the articles and it sure is interesting how mis-informed they are. There are a lot sticking up for Romney.

They had on Fox News yesterday Mitt Romney working with others on getting supplies into one of his headquarters. They are taking them out
on the Romney bus to distribute to the needy. Romney is very practiced
in this kind of thing. Anyway, he was there helping and that was neat to see.

I don't know how some Americans could get it so wrong about both Obama and Romney. Thank God for the debates so people could actually see Romney for their own selves. All that money Obama spent attacking Romney, down the tubes.

A lot of people are offended by obama sitting in the situation room and watching Americans getting slaughtered and not even making an attempt to help them.
