Suit Against Obama to Focus on Health Law, Boehner Says

By JONATHAN WEISMANJULY 10, 2014

WASHINGTON — Speaker John A. Boehner’s lawsuit against President Obama will focus on changes to the health care law that Mr. Boehner says should have been left to Congress, according to a statement issued Thursday by the speaker’s office.

By narrowly focusing the legal action on the Affordable Care Act, Mr. Boehner will sidestep the more politically problematic issue involving Mr. Obama’s executive action offering work permits for some illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children.

Last month, Mr. Boehner announced his intention to seek legislation allowing the House to sue the president over his use of executive actions, a reflection of charges by congressional Republicans that the president has overreached his authority. On Thursday, Mr. Boehner said the lawsuit would specifically challenge the president’s decision to delay imposing penalties on employers who do not offer health insurance to employees in compliance with the Affordable Care Act.

This is what I'm reading on the blogs and websites- that in order for Boehner to hire the private attorneys and get authorization to pay them/spend Millions $ suing Obama, the Congress needs to pass legislation authorizing that suit and that spenditure of those funds....
What if it passes the House but not the Senate :???:
What if Obama vetoes it :???:

Since there are plenty of lawyers in the House and there really is no "Investigative" procedures to speak of involving this suit, I don't see the need to involve the Senate because no monies would be needed. The charges are all public record. Heck, all they have to do is watch C-Span.

You sure better hope the Dems keep the Senate in the November election.

Remember Mike, when your values, morals, integrity, honesty and loyalty are as grounded as sea weed on the high sea, you can claim you don't support someone while making every excuse in the book for them, and then writing a new one when you run out.

Plus, she should be along any minute to paste some borrowed wit from a moron. I bet she also asked those she evicted for financial advice, and the town lush how to get sober.

this is one time I am actually praying that the lawsuit blows up in Boehner's face..

if it gets to the Supreme court and they broadly rule.. it will open the floodgates for the public to challenge in court unlawful executive orders..

orders that violate existing law and twist laws beyond recognition..
