Citing "severe weather forecasts," the Democratic National Convention Committee announced Wednesday that President Barack Obama would move his prime-time acceptance speech from Bank of America Stadium to a smaller, indoor venue nearby.

On Tuesday, Obama reelection campaign manager Jim Messina said at a forum organized by ABC and Yahoo News that the speech would occur in the stadium "rain or shine" unless the safety of those attending might be jeopardized.

"Lightning" is a concern they said.

I 'spose maybe they should have left the word "God" in the DNC platform?

Anyway. Bussing in that many people would have been a chore and it would have looked like they were filming a Tarzan movie anyway.......

Maybe the real reason is that O'blamer can't fill the large stadium & needs the venue to "look full" when the cameras are on.

I thought they told us that the larger stadium was sold out.

What are they going to do with all those people that had already bought tickets?

Unless...? You don't think they lied...do you?

The most notable empty chair would be standing on a stage lieing through his teeth about being a Uniter and Bipartisan President kind of like his wife did last night.

Oh and the buzz is Obama is worried about the fund raising Romney has been doing that has out paced his for the last few months. I guess he figured he needs the money the DNC was going to use to bus chair fillers in to buy another attack ad.
