55% Consider Obama Good or Excellent Leader

Saturday, January 05, 2013

Over half of voters now give President Obama positive marks for leadership, his highest ratings since the early months of his presidency.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters consider Obama a good or excellent leader, the highest finding since May 2009. This is up three points from last month, which was the first time the finding passed the 50% mark since June 2009.

One-out-of-three (33%) rate Obama as a poor leader, unchanged from December which marked the lowest finding in over three years.

What is surprising is this comes from what all the other major surveyors consider one of the most conservative/Republican leaning polling sites because they leave out so much of the Dem/liberal types with their polls..

So they leave out those Liberals, that might be upset with obama, for "giving too much" on the fiscal cliff deal?

Interesting.

Actually, what's surprising is that this comes as surprise to you. More and more Americans are becoming numbnut idiots (i.e. low information, non-analytical voters). I'm sure this makes you feel as warm and fuzzy as a big glass of your favorite koolaid.

The debt and deficit numbers are surely rising, but let's run that poll again after more people figure out their paychecks really are smaller.

When those receiving gubmint "revenue" outnumber those receiving paychecks, it won't matter.

Paul Ryan: "My tax plan includes closing the loopholes, and leaving the rate as is"

obama: "My plan includes increasing the rate, on the evil "rich" and leaving loopholes as is"

Buffett: "Us rich need to be taxed more"

TSR & OT: "I really like that Buffett, he's honest. You know, increased rates will increase revenue"

TopDawgs Fiscal Cliff Deal: $62 Billion increased revenue, $76 Billion in increased tax "loopholes" for the rich

As long as the "Welfare Brood Mares" keep breeding the number will continue to rise.

Gives us a warm fuzzy feeling, doesn't it?

Some of the low information voters that still have jobs are getting a surprise. Keep watching those poll numbers.

I would agree with you Whitewing. The Republican House can manage nothing but snub each other and the Republicans in the Senate will approve anything just so they can go back to their Siesta.. Unfortunately, it will take a major calamity in the US, that Obama can't handle, before things can turn around. At least the gun dealers are chow'in down right now! :)
