The President and the agencies....how's that going TEX?

Obama administration officials are increasingly using regulation and litigation to bypass Congress, say free market advocates and social conservatives.

“It is outrageous,” said Dan Kish, vice president at the Washington, D.C.-based Institute for Energy Research and a former Capitol Hill staffer. “Like it or not, Congress has the power to write laws.”

But these critics also say little can be done about it before November 2012, especially because they’re getting no support from the liberal critics who once lambasted George W. Bush for ignoring domestic and international laws, and for releasing “signing statements” when he signed bills into law.

Sorry but if the Congress has taken a vote on a bill and it fails to pass then the President should NOT beable to sign it into law by executive order or sneak it in by regulations through a favorable stacked agency.

If he over steps Congressional powers to write and pass bills then the Congress should investigate and if the actions warrent it deal with him. First over step of power he gets a warning and put on probation, Second he is impeached. There is no sense having hundreds of elected officials being paid millions of dollars just so the President can ignore them and do as he damn well wants. Once a vote is taken that should be the end of it until the Congress re-addresses the issue. There should be no option for the President to move on it without Congressional approval.
