obama: "there’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects

In the magazine article, Mr. Obama reflects on his presidency, admitting that he let himself look too much like “the same old tax-and-spend Democrat,” realized too late that “there’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects” and perhaps should have “let the Republicans insist on the tax cuts” in the stimulus.

The president’s comments are reported in an in-depth assessment of Mr. Obama’s first two years in office, which appears in the Times Magazine this Sunday.

Nice find.

But in the linked thread I couldn't help but notice that the argument started with what is considered a "Shovel Ready" job, and wound up with OT arguing which month of the year concrete can be poured......................

I can't decide who are the bigger fools................

1-Those that were fooled by Buckwheat........

2-Or Buckwheat for fooling them while knowing the truth would eventually come out.

obama was not sincere when he said it, and neither will is proteges be.

He's claiming naiveté and thinking Americans are stupid enough to not see through him.
