Obama To Bring The World Together

Iran is ramping up its threats to the United States even as the American effort against Iranian client state Syria has ground to a crawl.

President Obama made his [Theatrical] case to the American people and the world community Tuesday night that Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad must not be allowed to escape the consequences of using chemical weapons on civilians as the two-year-long Syrian civil war drags on.

Iran, a staunch ally of the Assad regime, is warning that any military action against Syria will cause a military and terrorist reaction on U.S. targets and allies.

Read this in the New York Times.....This was just a small part, the other was running Bush down.

"Defenders said that too much attention was being paid to the path instead of the destination, and that if Syria gave up its chemical weapons, all history would remember is that Mr. Obama had made it happen. “I’d rather always have a president who will make the right decisions at the right time,” said Representative Steve Israel, Democrat of New York, “than a president who makes the wrong decisions because he doesn’t want to give more time.”

By US State Department standards this is a huge win,... they averted war and are "negotiating"...

Which in itself wouldn't be so bad if the state department was any good at "negotiating"...

given we have the head of state Kerry,.. negotiating makes it worse.. his last attempt killed millions of Vietnamese and lost American prestige for decades...

"Even before Jane Fonda went to Hanoi to meet with the enemy and mock America, John Kerry secretly met with enemy leaders in Paris,"

After deciding not to run for Congress in 1970, Kerry went to Paris, site of Vietnam War peace negotiations, and met with Viet Cong representatives.

Kerry's campaign said earlier this year that he met on the trip with Nguyen Thi Binh, then foreign minister of the PRG and a top negotiator at the talks. Kerry acknowledged in that testimony that even going to the peace talks as a private citizen was at the "borderline" of what was permissible under U.S. law, which forbids citizens from negotiating treaties with foreign governments.

yet his meddling then eventually led to genocide..

. Eventually, North Vietnam violated the Paris Peace Accords and resumed the war. The American exit allowed North Vietnam time to repair infrastructure and prepare for another invasion.

President Ford requested aid to prop up South Vietnam. The Democratic Congress refused. Saigon fell on April 30, 1975

Communist victories in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos led to genocide.

now the question is,... "Have liberals, democrats, and Kerry Learned anything by the results of their weakness in the face of evil advisories?"

That answer will lead to the answer to the other important question...
"How will this one end?"

Not well I presume...
