White House says actions louder than words on lack of Easter proclamation.

Mr. Obama has not issued an Easter proclamation or statement in any of the three Easters he has been in office,

yes we hear you...

we heard you recognize a wide range of muslim holidays..

In 2010 Obama issued proclamations for the Muslim holidays for Ramaden, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha and also had time to issue an 8 paragraph proclamation for Earth Day ...on Good Friday.

he even sent a nowruz message.

yep.. he took the time to wish Iranians a happy New Year..

Did you read about the message that he heard at Church on Sunday?

James Parker at WRNO-FM in New Orleans did some digging yesterday about Shiloh Baptist's pastor, Dr. Wallace Charles Smith. Not only did he find that Smith loves to preach on race, but he noticed Smith even infused race into yesterday's Easter sermon:

One has to dig into the blog notes from various reporters to piece together the content from the sermon. Aside from the First Couple being honored guests, Pastor Wallace Charles Smith also announces that his 4 week old grandson is attending church for the first time, and a pool reporter noted an interesting perspective on the infant:

"[Pastor Smith] talked about how his baby grandson's gurgling is actually "talking" because he is saying 'I am here … they tried to write me off as 3/5 a person in the Constitution, but I am here right now … and is saying I am not going to let anybody from stopping me from being what God wants me to be.'"

I didn't hear a word about in the press...

but the church seems to have a bit of an image problem.. seems they have been a slumlord since the early 90's ,..

If Rev. Wright wasn't retired, I'm pretty sure that he might be on their "hiring list", but I'm sure obama wouldn't hear a word of it, if he was to sit in the pews.
