Obama's Political Buddy

I think because of his mix he knows understands and wants the rasism issue to be a non issue.

He wants it to be a non issue because his pastor was the one caught caught being racist. When Bill spoke of the "Myth" of Obama, Obama was the first to bring out the racist allegations.
By talking about his gramma making racist comments he was pointing out racism comes from both sides of the fence, his minister may share his grammas predudice

He wanted to happen has EXACTLY happened to you. When you say his minister "MAY" share in his grammeas prejudice, he has shifted the burden over to whites so that they will perpetuate "White Guilt" and vote for him.

He wants racism to work for him but not for others. Namely, his pastor.

He has you fooled into thinking just exactly like he wants the white voters to think. Vote for him and racism will end. Won't happen......

Man- then I want that man for President...Anyone who can think that far ahead to plan ahead the influence of his words and put into a speech a way to influence the thinking of the mass's, as you perceive, is maybe someone that can help settle some of the problems of the world- like the middle east problems...

GW, on the other hand is still spouting his "Crusade" and trying to learn to spell " recession"   - while Hillary is counting the sheckles she can rip off while in office and McCain practices singing "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran"... :(

Why can't this be discussed without getting so personal?
Like shooting the messenger instead of hating the message.
All I'm trying to do is to get some to look far enough to see if the message is true or just backstabbing propaganda. It seems instead of attacking Obamas political beliefs his colour seems to be the issue,I hate that, doesn't matter what side of the border ones on.I had an American pm me today, said political bull is starting to make every cattleman/rancher look like a member of the KKK.Remember not just members read this stuff.

I have looked at Obama's record.. and his floor speeches.. He is a liberal... not a moderate liberal.. but a far left falling over the edge liberal..

and every time someone tries to say anything bad about Obama.. the person is labeled as a racist..

The more it is said, the more the backlash will be.. many Americans are tired of being labeled racists just because they don't fall instep behind the socialist liberal agenda..

My self included.. I am a conservative republican.. if that means I'm a racist as well because I can't vote for a liberal who happens to be black,...then so be it..

Like I said in another thread,I've watched alot of Obamas speeches, interviews etc. I don't get any of the messages you guys are posting,

let me show you one message from Obama..

“Are some voters not going to vote for me because I’m African-American? Those are the same voters who probably wouldn’t vote for me because of my politics,” Barack Obama told ecstatic New Hampshire voters yesterday.

same voters.. if you don't vote for him because of politics.. your the same voter who won't vote for him because of race?

Being one of those voters who wouldn't vote for him because of his politics, I am offended at his suggestion that all conservatives are racists.

At least I tried to be civil while you called conservatives racists.. and didn't resort to insulting comments.. wish I could have said the same for you...

Seems you and Obama have the same problem, lumping all conservatives togeather.. and calling us all racists..

but if you find one post that I made that is racist I will gladly apologise..

For one thing,I wasn't being Uncivil{is that a word} I was saying you weren't reading my post properly.Do I get frustrated here, you betcha,if all conservatives were racist,I would be considered one too,but you and PT have taken to the idea because I'm telling you to open your eyes a bit that I'm a full fledged Lib,although you know the more and more I read how narrow minded some of my fellow conservatives are I'm thinking of jumping ship{now that was meant to be uncivil }Whew that was a LONG sentence

but you and PT have taken to the idea because I'm telling you to open your eyes a bit

Maybe the one who needs to open their eyes is you.. try doing a little research on Obama as some on here have already done..look at his floor speeches and his actions..as an Illinois senator

he is a far left liberal.... and anyone who attempts to show that gets called a racist... which I and many others are getting a little fed up with.. some to the point they are posting all the crap on him..

I even posted a comment from Obama showing how he is already attempting to call all conservatives racists..

“Are some voters not going to vote for me because I’m African-American? Those are the same voters who probably wouldn’t vote for me because of my politics,” Barack Obama told ecstatic New Hampshire voters yesterday.

he is setting the ground work to force the democrats to nominate him or the sharpton / wright types will threaten riots..

then come the general election if he loses.. expect a night of rioting.. .. and it won't be the typical white folks out burning down DC...

I don't want my country held hostage because a bunch of people keep wanting to feel like victims..

but look for yourself who your supporting..

,...won the permit for Civic Center for a kick-off Aug. 24, Spagnuolo accused the committee of creating a “very serious, dangerous situation . . . for everybody.”

Re-create 68 - which has promised demonstrations that will rival those at the bloody 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago - will be at Civic Center on Aug. 24, with or without a permit, he said.

"“When things blow up because the police have to enforce a permit that the Democrats got, don’t blame us for that.”"
http://recreate68.org/album1_dnc_002.htm

if that doesn't bother you...

"Rick, if the Machine tries to give the Clintons the victory at the convention, I swear to God, Chicago's going to look like a Sadie Hawkins dance...People my age are going to be throwing stones. We all have transportation -- cell phones -- disposable income -- the Internet -- free time -- and Seattle as our example. Part of me is scared of a riot. Part of me isn't. The nomination belongs to Obama. Do you think we're going to let the Democratic Leadership Council take it? "God gave Noah the rainbow sign. No more water, fire next time."...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rick-perlstein/some-apocalyptic-observat_b_90096.html

and unfortunately it is getting worse.. as Obama is not healing the nation.. he and those like Rev Wright are getting ready to rip the scab off a festering wound...

"The mood's getting ugly, and if we go to Denver without a nominee, the pressure's going to be intense from without to nominate Obama. She can win the nomination, but it won't be a prize worth having."

Obama said at a conference of black clergy.,...

Obama's criticism of Bush prompted ovation after ovation from the nearly 8,000 people gathered in Hampton University's Convocation Center, particularly when he denounced the Iraq war and noted that he had opposed it from the outset.
Repeatedly, he referred to the riots that erupted in Los Angeles after a jury acquitted four police officers of assault charges in the 1991 beating of Rodney King, a black motorist, after a high speed chase. Fifty-five people died and 2,000 were injured in several days of riots in the city's black neighborhoods.

"Those 'quiet riots' that take place every day are born from the same place as the fires and the destruction and the police decked out in riot gear and the deaths," Obama said. "They happen when a sense of disconnect settles in and hope dissipates. Despair takes hold and young people all across this country look at the way the world is and believe that things are never going to get any better."

He argued that once a hurricane hits or a jury renders a not guilty verdict, "the frustration is there for all to see."

Obama, who is bidding to become the first black president, took the stage after a succession of ministers repeatedly brought the crowd to its feet, singing, praying and swaying to music.

Repeatedly, with evangelical zeal, he raised issues that roused the crowd:,...

He introduced his own pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Chicago's Trinity United as "Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian." He credited Wright with introducing him to Christ, and peppered his speech with scriptural references, at one point invoking the opening lines of the Lord's Prayer.

Obama noted that during the riots, a bullet pierced the abdomen of a pregnant woman and lodged in the elbow of her fetus. The baby was delivered by caesarian section, the bullet was removed and the child, Jessica Glennis Evers-Jones, has only a small scar on her arm to show for it.

Using the incident as a metaphor, Obama said society's problems are worsening because "in too many places across the country, we have not even bothered to take the bullet out."

"When we have more black men in prison than in college, then it's time to take the bullet out," he said.

Obama doesn't regularly focus on racial themes in his standard campaign speeches.

Repeatedly, with evangelical zeal, Obama raised issues that roused the crowd:,..Repeatedly, he referred to the riots

yep that's one man who is trying to heal a wound.. or start anther riot..

What would be said in the black community if a white candidate introduced a friend as "unashamedly white"? Do you think that just maybe the word "racist" would be mentioned? Maybe?
