Wasn't short sleeve weather here today, Britt and I got a little wet gathering and sorting of 50 calves to haul home. Britt got a little wetter then I did as she had to trail 2 wayward yrling hfrs down the Hiway half a mile.
Your cows are looking good.

Thanks, Big Muddy. Raising cattle is still fun, even if it isn't profitable. Now instead of it being a business, it is more like a high-priced hobby. :cboy:

Glad you had a good day with lots of good help.

Love your photos of Old Glory. Think I'll use one for my desktop....I've used many of yours for that through the years. So thank you again.

I notice you are all riding your good ole standby horses. What happened to the young ones you have bought the past few years?
I especially remember that really good looking buckskin that was going to be Peach's new mount. Do you still have him?

I love how calm and content your cattle are. No hoorahing and the bunch isn't wound up. I have been around some outfits that could sure take a page from your book on stockmanship. Thanks for the pictures. I have a few from our fall gather I need to share one evening.

Or a tax write-off, the way all the larger ranches are configured down here.

Great pics!
