Off to University

Well guys it's been a long time since I have posted here. It's been 4 years, if I remember correctly. Anyway to bring you all up to speed on my situation- I am an 18 year old who has dabbled in cattle raising for 6 years. My high school career is drawing to a close (thank God) and I am weighing my college options. I am seeking a degree in Agricultural Education. My dilemma is that I have been accepted to Montana State University and University of Wyoming. This may not seem like an issue at first, until you remember that I am from Virginia. Being from an eastern state, I don't know a whole lot about these schools. So my question is; What do you all know about these schools? Any advice would be great.

Thanks

If it were me, coming from VA, I'd go to U of Wyo. Either one would be okay, I just know students who have been very happy with Wyoming, and some not so happy with MSU. I have never attended either one.

A friend of ours whose daughter is studying to become a doctor changed to U of Wy and loved it there.

In fact, I can introduce you to our nephew who attends U of Wy. :D

Good luck to you whatever you choose and keep us posted on how it goes!

Thanks to both of you. The "Brown Cow" name is a reference to my first crop of calves, most of which were born brown. Anyways, thanks for the advice and I will be sure to keep everybody informed.
