Here's a bull of our herdbull-he's only eight months old but he shows some potential I think. Remember the name 'Frostbite' lol.

I'll have a bit better grammar on this one-here's a pic of our herdbulls first calves bucking-here's 'Chill Out'-the apple didn't fall far from the tree on this calf.

1st --- I LOVE the name Frostbite.....
:)

2nd ---WOW, good kick!! 'specially for an 8 month old with just a flank! :D :D Think your on to something there! :D :D

3rd --- that Daddy is a good lookin' sunagun! :) I'd keep him around!!!

I don't think I'm ever going to get those videos emailed to you. I'm having a hell of a time figuring out our camera.

I am in the middle of updating my website, check it out when you have a chance www.trcattle.com. We have more videos up for Dr. Seuss, Flanders and Noodles (or should soon). They are kinda flat, but hopefully they'll grow into some kick. 8)

Also have all the calves up this year (funny how I want color and pazzaz and I get all black (8 out of 10 anyways). Ofcourse didn't expect anything different with who their daddy is.)

That second bull calf is called 'Chill Out' we've got a crop eared heifer called 'Frozen Bannock Sandwich' -(Northern Saskatchewan humour lol). Were thinking of taking those young bulls down the futurity trail in a couple years-they aren't even out of roideo bred cows but buck pretty good. Maybe you better collect old 'Prankster' for the U'S and we can both get rich -I like to dream. That second bull hipped himself pretty good but still had a pretty good trip. He's the real deal-has a bit of 'tude-Ty had to do his best Rob Smets to get the flank off lol.

Chill out is a good name too... don't get the frozen Bannock Sandwich, but I cam imagine :D

I'm a firm believer you don't have to have blood lines to produce super stars!! But, maybe draw blood on those cows. That way if you do do the futuritiy thing you can get both parents registered and can play ABBI and not just open deals... just a thought.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

You'll have to send me video some day if you got any.

'Frozen Bannock Sandwiches' is a song the natives sing up here-it's a parody of 'Coat of Many Colours'. If we ever cross paths and I start drinking again I'll sing it for you lol. Those two bulls are just off a couple ordinary beef cows we have-can't wait to buck something off our rank cows.

You better buy one of those Blueberry Wine sons that are on Breeders Connection-I'll be your Canadian semen rep for ya. I can't see those two not being good-sure are bred to buck-which one would you pick-just curious. Rumour has it one of the major A'I companies has a rodeo bull in the works-I'll keep you posted. Bucking bull guys can't be any worse to deal with than purebred breeders-well maybe I spoke too soon lol.

I'd love to have either, but if I had to choose it'd be 45. His mom is double bred red wolf (or red wolf/hollywood) and other is just red wolf.

That and we have a little theory about bald face bucking bulls, we've always had luck with them.

Which one would you pick and why?

Let me know what bull is getting collected... I can't think of anyone else to be our Can... semen rep :)

PS wish us good luck --- we are going back to Texas for the NBBA finals our bull Dr. Suess made it. We've been working with him since we got back from the last one.

He runs 20 minutes a day, his grain is increased and we added the 2 bulls supplement Oh and he's breeding 2 heifers (not enought to slow him down, but enough to get his testorone going). He looks GREAT.

Well hope you get a fairshake from the judges and kick some serious butt. I can't wait to see one of yours flinging guys off on TV. I'd like to get semen on 'Repeat' or 'Ditto' those braunviehs work great on Angus cows I could buck the buckers and feed out the rest lol.

He definitely shows a lot of promise- in the second video he definitely appears as tho he could be a little "welly" the way he moves away as he spins... :D

Thanks guys!

We thought he was pretty big for his age (he's turned 2 in April). Then we got to Texas those bulls are huge!

He is pretty welly, I wish he had more kick that 2nd trip but he was fast and faded so all is good. The finals is a two rounder and Seuss has been pretty consistance, so we are looking that as an advantage.

The hubby is leaving Tuesday morning to give him plenty of time to rest. I couldn't get that much time off of work so I ended up having to get a one way plane ticket. It was much cheaper to stop of at Houston on my way to Fort Worth. I booked it before I realized it's hurricane season and that's why it's so cheap.

Well just got back from the finals.

We had a great time and met a lot ofo good people. :D

We did get a fair shake.

The 1st day he came out 1 and kicked over his head and spun to the left. He was snappy and flashy!! He jumped out of it after about 3 spins for about 3 kicks and went the other way spinning.

At the end of the 6 seconds (it's only 6 at a futurity), the dummy came off, but the flank strap didn't. He kept spinning until he got dizzy and fell down. He got back up and started spinning again. eventually he quit and very drunk like he left the arena. (all this after the whistle and with guys in the arena trying to get him to stop)

He was scored 79.75 which was fair since he jumped out of it.

We were very worried that night. This is something that can mess with a bulls mind. He might ran off the 2nd day. It was the first time he bucked 2 days in a row and he this mishap could be devasating

The 2nd day, he acted like it never happened! He came out 1 and spun to the left. He was scored 80.75 (He would have been higher, but he flattened out a bit towards the end). :) :D :)

Over all we placed 20th out of 50 for the finals and 33rd out of 160 for the year.

I'm proud of him. He proved he has heart and can take the diesel smoke. To every even he went about 14 hours (where the other bulls went about 2). :D :D :D

Now, we put a man on him and go from there.

There are some awesome pictures. Once I get them and get permission, I'll post them.

Ty wants to try him lol. He looks like his nemesis 'Blue Frost' a bull that he had twice and can't quite get by. You did really well-at those deals the top bulls are all pretty darn good. Heck if you hauled 14 hours you may as well of pointed your wagon tongue north and came for a visit lol.
