A year today until the 2010 winter Olympics,if you haven't applied to carry the torch,go to.....www.carrythe torch.com

:)

Did you participate in the 1988 games? A friend of mine was a translator for some little known country that spoke Russian. He had a small delegation so had extra tickets for each event. Her husband and I became his diplomatic delegation and went to an event every day. It was so much fun. My sister lives in Vancouver but we haven't been able to score tickets yet. I totally enjoyed everything about the games. Must try to carry the torch too. :)

We applied to carry the torch but the one in our area that got to do it worked for Petro Canada....

I didn't get to go to any of the Olympics,my kids were little then but wasn't it just the best to watch..... :)

I hear the Jamaican bobsled team is practicing in Vancouver as we speak.... :D

I would LOVE tickets but I think you have to kill someone to get them.....

OHHH to watch the hockey games........

My friend who lives near Seattle turns 50 next year during the games...she's bound and determined to go. Good thing they have alot more money than we do! She's told me some of the prices

As a side note. My cousin built one of the buildings for the 2010 games...something to do with snowboarding I think.
