Why doesn't " God" stop it? Smite the bad guys and all that razza-ma- taz?

Why let those poor people suffer and go thru this when a well placed flood or lightning bolt can solve the problem?

All is done in His timing. Overall, we know so little about the past and can't even begin to accurately predict the future, so how can anyone claim to know or judge the reasoning of God?

Why not just disprove the Bible against itself? If it is false, it should be easy to do.

More importantly than any other individual, why did He let His own Son suffer? There is great reasoning in that suffering. It provided salvation to any that would have it.

Why was the Roman empire not crushed by God upon the initial arrival of Christ to Earth? He did not start up a government which is what most Jews of that time period believed would happen. He set up His kingdom that transcends all boundaries. His Kingdom is not oppressive but meek and is reached only by choice.

There has been several acts of His judgement. Some of the most recognized- The great flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the destruction of civilizations on the land He gave to Israel.

All has been done in His timing when the fruit of the wicked was ripe. Why was it not ripe the day before, the month before or the year before? That is a determination far beyond any of our comprehensions. But I know because He is not quick to punish, that He is patient. Why is He patient, because He is desiring for all to turn to Him.

If all received what they deserved, we would ALL be dead. The human population would have been wiped out long ago. But because there is life and free will, there are the consequences of those decisions- good and evil.
