OT posting on a face book site about free roaming buffalo .
Drew- I agree. That is the only way the message will get across- BUT in order to do that you are going to have to have landowners tell the State where to stick it with their Block Management- and landowners to cancel Outfitters hunting leases- and I don't see that happening- as they have all been bought out... And then on top of it - you have the issue of conservation easements that have been sold off-- which is a long term way to allow for all the buffalo and antelope roam people to own the prairie-- and there isn't that much to close off......
Poster.....DICK, I AM A OUTFITTER AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Your idiocy is a big part of what is wrong with the system. LIBERAL DEMOCRATS ARE THE PROBLEM, plain and simple. I know a lot of outfitters, none are liberal democrats. I know a lot of FARMERS who are.
OT....Well Bud- you may be right- BUT like I told Drew- any kind of lockout isn't going to work- as long as folks keep allowing the state or the moneyed folks to gain access to land -- which is what leasing out to outfitters, and the state (block management) does... And the conservation easements end up playing right into the hands of the greenie weenies as in most cases it lessens the value of the property and makes it cheaper for them to purchase in the years down the line...
Poster....Proof of your ignorance Dick, by law Outfitters are not allowed to use block management property. It is available for the non outfitted public ONLY.
Also Mr. Britzman private property right as I understand them should allow the owner to do with his property as he see's fit without asking your permission. That would include leasing. Why don't you explain to everyone here why they don't have the right to lease their own property if they choose to do so.
Ot...And Bud- I'm quite aware of that..
Poster....Were waiting for the explanation, go ahead and tell everyone why you know more about their property rights than they do.
OT....I just don't think a boycott will work- because there is too much public land- and you will not get enough landowners to give up there income (either from outfitter leasing or state funds)..
