Just wondering if any of you guys out there have kept any heifers out of Olie simmental bull? And if so did they turn out to be good mamma's?

We haven't, but the young fella that leases our place has.......and he loves them. I think that is the only bull he AI's to and he's used him for quite a few years now.

We have first-calf Olie heifers and so far we are very excited. They just became mommas so the jury is out but there is a lot of evidence in other places that he's making good cows.

I only have a few registered sim and simangus cows but my Olie daughter is my favorite and she's bred to Tuition to have a bull calf any day now. Moderate frame, good depth, very good udder. Last year's heifer calf out of her is very nice too.
