Well how can Jr be sheltered? If he surfed the web, picked up a newspaper or turned on the TV he would get bombarded with criticism.

Isn't this the same for any leader who was beginning to become unpopular with time left in office?

GW will get the legacy he deserves. Unfortunately I don't think he is bright enough to really know what is going on. He has too many yes men around him sheltering him. His father had the same critism after going shopping.

Well if he ever looks out of a window in the White House he will will see somebody protesting something they dont like about him.

I think all politicians are jaded from that sort of thing.

The mythe that Bush is surrounded by "yes men" is just a popular lie. Anyone that has been inside Bush policy meetings reports Bush requests dissention, but facts should never mire a character assination.

You say the " yes men" theory it's a lie....how do you know it IS a lie? Have you been in the policy meetings????

Have you ever met Bush????....know how he does his deals and how he operates?

The alternative to the "yes man" theory is that Bush is incompetent in making decisions. He goes for his self interest over the interests of the country.

The "yes man" theory allows Bush to be incompetent instead of just plain old corrupt.

You may be right, Brad S., but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Most recently Tony Snow reported on policy meetings' structure. Many more examples if needed. Now its your turn, you been there? Would someone wanting a "yes man" reccruit Dick Cheney. You guys saying yes men need to settle with the guys saying Cheney is the real pres. The left is pleased to lie on both sides of any issue.

Econ, your attack on the President may not have the effect you think. If only you could big town me by mentioning you know someone on a hospital board aaaaand produce some marginally relevant fact - well i'd still would give your idiotic smear its due consideration, but at least I'd know someone wasn't impersonating you.

Many times I stated here that I have have business deals with GW in the past....and I know of how he deals. This is one MAJOR reason I say this man is the WRONG man to be prez.

He's all bluff and fluster and when it comes down to the nitty gritty time when HE had to " go balls to the wall" on a deal.....he let others take over the deal and he cut and ran.

So YES....I've been there.....NEVER AGAIN!! I got done with the deal while it was still viable to get out and NOT loose my shirt. Others stayed around....and lost lots and lots of $$$$$$$.

Brad, a lot of people have their mind made up before the facts are in. I voted for Bush and I know I did. I was wrong. There was a possiblity that I was right to vote for him but facts have become apparent to me that I was wrong.

Your problem is what is wrong with Kansas. To you the world will always be flat. It is your perogative.

Some people don't know when someone is peeing on their leg and calling it rain. MRJ will call up the NCBA to see if it is raining. Your dad probably told you it was rain. Believe what you want. You have free will.
