This week, OMB Watch launched a new website that lets users search over $12 trillion in federal government spending going back to fiscal year 2000. The website - www.fedspending.org - was launched during a press conference in Washington, DC, on Tuesday morning October 10. You can read our press release from the event or watch a webcast of the conference.

FedSpending.org is a powerful new tool that has received rave reviews so far. Never before has this much data on government spending been so accessible for ordinary citizens and analysts alike. Informed by this data, anyone can have the knowledge they need to hold elected leaders accountable for how they set national priorities and spend the public's money.

Check out www.fedspending.org to learn more about it capabilities, or read an article on the website from the latest edition of The Watcher.
