On the subject of Hillary winning the popular vote

(this came in an email and I don't know the author) :D

And here is "The Rest of the Story" We hear a cacophony of blaring and bleating from the media and the Hillary gaggle that she won the popular vote and therefore she should be president, 60,839,497 to 60,265,847.

47.8% to 47,3% with the remaining 4.9% going to the other candidates. But here are the facts: Trump won the popular vote in 31 states to her 19 and DC. 62% to her 38%. Trump led in the total popular vote for all states except California.

Hillary won California 5,860,714 to Trump’s 3,151,821. 61.6% to 33.1% exclusive of the other candidates.

Thus California gave Hillary the popular vote for all states as claimed by the Democrats and the media.

But deduct her California vote from her national vote leaving her with 54,978,783, and deduct Trump’s California vote from his national total, leaving him with 57.113.976,

he wins in a landslide in the other 49 states, 51.3% to her 48.7%.

So, in effect, Hillary was elected president of California and Trump was elected president of the rest of the country by a substantial margin. This exemplifies the wisdom of the Electoral College, to prevent the vote of any one populace state from overriding the vote of the others.

Trump’s Campaign Manager, Kellyanne Conway, whose expertise is polling, saw this early on and devised her strategy of“6 pathways to the White House”.

This meant ignoring California with its huge Democrat majority and going after the states that would give him the necessary electoral votes to win,

FL, NC, MI, PA, OH, and WI.You will never hear this from our miserably failed media!!

The one State I would have love to see a total state recount in is California. I would like to see them go through the voters list and check the citizenship of those on the list to see just how many California voters are actually illegals voting because of no voter ID/proof of citizenship system. You know the voter ID system that all developed countries except the US use to protect their elections from fraud.

Maybe Trump should ask for a recount in California. Just to keep things interesting.

I so agree, but with our current obama led administration's all who dare can vote policy, a policy that mirrors California's liberal voting policy.

Will I need to bring identification?

In most cases, California voters are not required to show identification at their polling place. However, it is a good idea to bring identification with you when you vote for the first time. A poll worker may ask to see your identification if you mailed your voter registration application and did not include your driver license number, California identification number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number.

A copy of a recent utility bill, the sample ballot booklet you received from your county elections office, or another document sent to you by a government agency are examples of acceptable forms of identification. Other examples include your passport, driver license, official California identification card, or student identification card.

For more information on identification to use when you vote for the first time check the complete list or call the Secretary of State's toll-free voter hotline at (800) 345-VOTE (8683).

California Assembly Bill 60 ( AB-60) is a bill passed into law that, in effect, allows illegal immigrants to the United States to apply for a California driver's license with the CA Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Previous to this bill, driver's licenses were only issued to California residents who could prove their legal presence in the United States, usually by providing a Social Security number. Per AB-60, a California resident who cannot prove their legal presence in the U.S. can still apply for a driver's license as long as they can prove their identity AND California residency, as well as pass all required tests for an original driver's license.

Cannot be used against the license holder to determine their immigration status or citizenship, or detain them in any way for reasons other than valid traffic violations.

so vote and vote often..

Trump needs to request the Congress pass a law that forces the States to spend the next 4 years going through their voters lists and cleaning out the dead and illegals. Then they need to pass a nationwide voter ID system where voters have to prove citizenship to get their right to vote. Time to stop the illegals stealing elections for the Dems.

:agree: Especially on the state level and ballot initiatives, it would be interesting to know how much damage the cheaters are doing.
