We had a pretty unusual year here as far as the weather went. The creek came up and flooded out of its banks 5 times. Grandma says she has never seen that before. Here is the last flood that we had. They had between 4 and 6 inches of rain in just over an hour, just west of us. We didn't get a drop of rain.....
July 14. I had just baled up everything we had down, hadn't had a drop of rain on any of it....

We had about 50 bales flooded, and had 6 or so float down the creek...
