Only the worst of the worse remain, yet Obama insists more go free.

returning them to Saudi Arabia where many started from including the 9-11 hijackers is not smart.

WASHINGTON – A key U.S. lawmaker warned Tuesday that new intelligence shows former detainees released recently from the Guantanamo Bay detention centre are trying to return to terrorism.
In a letter to President Barack Obama, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce, R-Calif., said his committee had received a “troubling new report” from the U.S. intelligence community about detainees recently transferred to foreign countries. He said the report also showed that detainees were recently transferred to a country poorly equipped to stop them from returning to battle.
According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), as of September 2016, 693 detainees have been transferred from Guantanamo Bay. According to the ODNI, 122 (17.6%) are 'Confirmed' as returning to terrorist or militant activities, while 86 (12.4%) are suspected by them of the same.

Obama told Yahoo in December that “only a handful” of Gitmo detainees has returned to a life of terrorism.
The actual number is closer to 196… So he was only off by 191.
The president may not know how many Guantanamo detainees have been released but we do. 653. Of which, 196 are either confirmed or suspected recidivists. That is not a handful. That is about 40 handfuls.
