Juan Pablo Hernandez-Isquierdo (Madison County Sheriff's Department)
HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- A Huntsville man has been indicted on multiple charges of sodomy, child sex abuse, rape and child abuse.
The alleged victims include an adult and several children.

Juan Pablo Hernandez-Isquierdo, 23, was arrested in March 2013 and charged with domestic violence/strangulation, three counts of aggravated sex abuse, sex abuse, two counts of rape and five counts of sodomy

His bond was set at $570,000.

The indictment released today shows he's been charged with five counts of sodomy, three counts of child physical abuse, one count of rape, sexual abuse of a child less than 12 and domestic violence by strangulation.

Hernandez-Isquierdo's court-appointed attorney Ron Smith had petitioned the court to provide funds for an interpreter. Smith's filing argued the defendant does not speak English well enough to aid in his own defense. Madison County District Court Judge Alison Austin granted the request in March.
