Agreed. That's what needs to be done. In today's climate, I think the ranchers would end up in prison next to the Bundy's if they tried anything like that. I don't think the Prairie Sage Grouse deal is over yet, either. There appears to be too many instances of trying to get rid of ranchers for no good reason, and using any means to do it.littlejoe said:Traveler said::???:The Bundys and the militants who follow and support them are the agents of their own destruction.
This I don't get. It'd be a kindness to drop about 90% of these horses, both to the ranchers and the horses. (and--truth be told---also to the blm) A few yrs ago, you could buy a new, chrome barrel'd sks for about 100 bucks. Theres dozens of them things around here and many buyers bought ammo by the case. 7.62 x39, same as ak47, good little round. by the time you was outa ammo you'd be about outa horses and throw the sks in the creek. Last deal similar was grizzly up on the rez---smoked by natives, laws reaction was 'what are you telling me for?--let's not complicate things...'
Wait'll the govt figures out that somehow--in spite of their best efforts--a little common sense has gotten loose......there's a true 'endangered species...'Big Muddy rancher said:I was on a Sage grouse tour last fall and Grasslands National Park is starting to let cows back in as the Sage Grouse were on the other side of the fence with the cows.
