Gun sales in Montana are booming amidst fears that President-elect Barack Obama will restrict gun rights once in office.
Reports are that gun sales have increased not only in the state but across the country following the win of Obama, a Democrat.
In Helena, the owner of Montana Outdoor Sports said he thinks a ban on all gun sales is unlikely but expects some form of taxes or restrictions, which is boosting business now.
"We're selling a lot. Especially on the internet. That's where a lot of it is going. We just shipped out about four more hand guns through the postal service," Rex Seeley said.
Seeley said ammunition is expected to be a big problem once Obama takes office, which explains why he's been selling so much of it.
Seeley expects the sales boom to last at least past January and into the beginning months of Obama's term in office.
Wonder if these are hunters???????
